Andrew Joseph Celauro is a god…relatively speaking. While he may not be on the same level as say Buddha or Jehovah, he is a spiritual being when it comes to rocking. He softens up the audience like a soft-serve ice cream cone with his tasty guitar licks, and then, when the time is right, he unleashes the sonic onslaught giving each listener more pounds than the entire Bank of England. To quote Celauro himself, “I really think I’m the single greatest guitar player of all time. I mean, I may not have the chops of Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page, but I look so much more awesome when I play. It’s a shame how I put everyone else to shame.”

Andrew is an ass. But he’s an ass that rocks. He rocks that ass every night in the studio, laying down line after line of undeniable funkitute. He is the backbone of Inuit Jargon, because essentially, without him, there would be no songs, seeing as he plays the lead music. He has played electric and acoustic guitar, bass, piano, and keyboard on Jargon recordings, and writes the music for every song.

Andrew is a man of many talents. He recently composed the score for a short film from Inuit Jargon Productions for the UF Film Festival entitled “Her Majesty, Ragu!” in which he also stared and wrote with fellow band mates Shaun Spalding, Matt Ruecker, and the infamous DJ Tanner. “I really thought it was an interesting way to broaden my horizons as a composer,” says Andrew. “I’ve always been interested in arty pretentious avant-garde trash, so I was really proud of the film when we finished.” In the long line of amazing rock legends, Andrew Celauro and his band of merry men are clearly at the top of the pack.
