Not a Snakes on a Plane joke…

Doing some research for a new song, I was reading Samuel L. Jackson’s IMDB . Before he hit it big with Pulp Fiction in 1994, he used to be in some old Spike Lee movies and get some not-so-great roles in most other movies.

In most movies he’d play a drug addict or something like that, but in 1989 he hit his first big break in Sea of Love playing

a “black guy”. Apparently the script called for any generic “Black Guy,” which is a major step up from drug addict in my book.
