What? Back to back Inuit Jargon?

November 11th, 2005

Yes, this is going to be a WEIRD show. Matt has to be in Orlando, so it’s just Andrew and I at Tim and Terrys tomorrow (Saturday Nov 12th) at 8PM.

Because of the lack of Matt and the “intimate” (read small and claustrophobic) venue, we’re changing the set 90% from the Nov 10 show. It’s going to be ultra weird… Sometimes not even in a good way.

Good news is that we’ll have shirts for the buying and stickers and free EPs for the taking.

National Inuit Jargon Day!

November 11th, 2005

Thanks a lot for everyone who came out to celebrate National Inuit Jargon Day with us. It meant a lot, and I’m not just saying that. Also, thanks for everyone who sang along During the “National Inuit Jargon Day Anthem”.

Morningbell was awesome as usual. The Sh*tty Beatles were spontaneous and fun — even though they didn’t play “Lady Madonna”.

We sold some t-shirts, and that was cool. We’ve insituted the rule that if you see anyone with an Inuit Jargon tshirt on you have to walk up to them and give them a hearty chest bump (hopefully while yelling “Go Gators! Go Gators!”). We’re going to have new designs for our big show in December TBA… so keep checkity checking the merch section.

That’s pretty much it.

Feel the excitment!

November 5th, 2005

Do you smell that, son? That’s the smell of victory. That’s the smell of November 10th, Armistice Day Eve — the day when Morningbell, The Shitty Beatles, and Inuit Jargon will show you what it really means to be an American at The Shamrock.

Nov 10th also happens to coincide with National Inuit Jargon day. A holiday to gather with friends and family, feast, and play the traditional Inuit Jargon games.

As a result of these two momentous events coming together, this WILL BE the BIGGEST INUIT JARGON SHOW OF THE YEAR — hands down. There’s literally nothing we’re holding back (special guests, super special guests, a NEVER performed song). If you don’t show up; all of your friends will make fun of you for being lame. This show is so jammed packed with excitment, we’re worried that the sheer confusion may even be too overwhelming for sensitive fans.

You will be entertained. We will make you think.

PS. Shirts, stickers, posters, sampler CDs and more now available at this show for the first time.

IJ Sells Out…

November 2nd, 2005

Ahh, as we approach crunch time for the November 10th show (”The Armistice Day Countdown”), a lot is happening in the Inuit Jargon world.

First and foremost — I just put in the orders for stickers and T-shirts! That’s right. IJ merch is a go, and will (tentatively) be available for the Nov 10 show.

Secondmost — November 10th is officially National Inuit Jargon Day! Show your patriotic duty by celebrating. More details, photos, and ways YOU can help out will be posted shortly.
