Breaking News!
October 2nd, 2008The REAL Dick Tiddy from the Bay Hill Country Club revealed for the very first time on inuitjargon.com .
Hot off the presses…

The son of an insurance salesman, Tiddy was born July 14, 1929, two months ahead of his future pal [Arnold] Palmer. Remarkably, this hulk of a man was just 5 pounds at birth, but quickly made up for that. As a first-grader, he was larger than his teacher.
Young Tiddy’s storied appetite suggests he needed a fork with racing stripes.
John “Lefty” Tiddy, one of his two brothers said, “We never had anything left on anybody’s plate. Thanks to Dick, Mom never had much dish washing to do.”
Pony In Pictures
May 13th, 2008Media!
April 29th, 2008Apparently our last show got a little write-up in The Sun.
Over at Market Street on Saturday, it’s a farewell and arrival in one as young jokesters Inuit Jargon will play their final show on the same night they release their new album, “Pony.” They’re no masters of stage and sound, nor will they ever claim to be so. But there’s a certain charm in having what was a dorm-room joke become a band that’s lasted four years and put out two full-length records. Those who prefer getting frustration out through a laugh should look into it.
Hot!

Hello and Goodbye (for now)
April 29th, 2008Hello All!
We just wanted to thank everyone who came to the show last night and those of you who were there in spirit. We appreciate everyone who’s come to see us over the past four years, it really means a lot to us. To everyone who bought a CD, we hope you enjoy it, we’re really proud of it and know it will bring you lots of joy!
Thank you again Gainesville, keep on keepin’ on.
Andrew

Newer is Better
March 24th, 2008Who wants some news? How about a new album for starters? It’s called Pony. We put in the order to the duplicators today.
How about new songs? The album has more than a few of them that we’ve written but couldn’t play live for one reason or another.
How about new directions? The first album was good. The second album, we thought about expanding our horizons and making it great. Mission accomplished!
How about new shows? Yeah, that’s right! We’re playing at Market Street Pub on March 29th with Oh, Fortuna, Morningbell, and Team Mascot.
How about new bands? Oh, Fortuna is the new hotness. They’re Gainesville locals and they recently opened up for Girl Talk in Miami.
Inuit Jargon stays fresh with no expiration date.

The Home Stretch
February 5th, 2008Things are heating up in Jargon Country!
1. We have a free show coming up at the Orange and Brew on February 7th (this Thursday) with Morningbell and …And this is my Odyssey.
2. We’ve been recording the (as yet untitled) 2nd Inuit Jargon album with Eric and Travis from Morningbell. If it turns out like we think it will, it’s going to be so much better than the first one — if you can imagine that!
3. We need a name for the new album! If you have any suggestions, let us know.
